Residents of several nearby counties may apply for Sarasota County Library cards as reciprocal borrowers by presenting their home library card, a photo ID, and proof of home address.
Reciprocal borrowing allows walk-in patrons to check out materials free of charge. Borrowing privileges do not extend to Sarasota County Library's databases, eBooks, and eAudiobooks. For database and e-material access, a non-resident card may be purchased for a fee. For more information click here.
