The CR consumer report logoAll of the Sarasota County Libraries offer Consumer Reports (printed version). The most recent copy is usually found at the Reference or Information desk at your local library. While the most recent copies are for in-library use only and cannot be checked out, back issues can be checked out. Back issues can be requested through the library's catalog, linked here.

Online, Consumer Reports is available through the library's resource called Flipster. Using Flipster to access magazines allows patrons to search for both current and back issues by keyword or topic.

Flipster can be accessed online via web browser from Sarasota County Library System's website, in the Digital Library section under Ebooks and downloads. When not at a library, you need a current library card for this. When at a library and connected to the library's Wi-Fi then no library card is necessary.

Additionally, Flipster is also accessible through an app on both iOS and Android devices.  Here's a link to the library's page with information about the apps you can use.

The Consumer Reports Buyer's Guides are also offered.
