No, Manatee and Charlotte County residents both are covered by the same reciprocal borrowing agreements excpet for Charlotte County residents cards will expire every year on 6/30 whereas Manatee reciprocal cards will expire every year on the day the card was inputted into our system.

The current reciprocal borrowing agreement in place with Charlotte County Library  and Manatee County Library allows Charlotte County and Manatee County residents to receive reciprocal borrowing privilages when they present in person one form of identification with their current address and their current Manatee/Charlotte Library card.

Both reciprocal counties are only allowed access to the physical materials of Sarasota County Library system. All ebooks and online databases are not accessible with a reciprocal card.
