There are a couple of ways to find new books. Just keep in mind that the designation of "new" can be books that are newly published, as well as older items that are newly added to the collection.

2. Finding what's new by browsing on the shelf while at the library:
Each library has designated shelves for the newest arrivals. Books are shelved in the new book area for approximately 6 months then moved to regular fiction and non-fiction shelves. New items are usually separated by type, such as "new fiction," "new large print fiction," "new biographies," and so on.
