Library locations are providing early voting and polling locations for the upcoming 2024 election. Some are strictly for early voting or polling locations while others are both. If you have any questions, please call Info Central at 941-861-1110.
Early voting for the November 5 election day
Note that ballots cannot be dropped off at a library prior to early voting dates. A secure drop-off box for completed ballots will be provided at early voting sites.
Early voting is from Monday, October 21 through Sunday, November 3, at 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. daily at any designated early voting site.

Dropping Off Your Vote-by-Mail Ballot
You may drop off your ballot at a secure ballot intake station inside any Sarasota County elections office:
- September 20 - November 5, during regular business hours: 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m., Monday - Friday
- Weekends during early voting: 8:30 a.m. - 6:30 p.m., October 26 - 27 and November 2 - 3
- Election day: 7 a.m. - 7 p.m., Tuesday, November 5
