Sarasota County Public Libraries serve as the host venue for tax assistance provided by outside community organizations. Library staff do not make tax assistance appointments. Tax assistance hours and availability vary by location.
Several libraries are expecting to receive copies of the 1040 form and instruction booklet. All tax forms, instruction booklets and the tax tables are also available for free here on the IRS's website. Each library offers free black-and-white printing, up to 30 pages per person per day.
