An upcoming update to the Enhanced Catalog will see several account options from the Bookshelf bar moved to the new Account Portal. The Account Portal consolidates several account-based features into a single location that can be opened within a new tab or window, and allows you to access and manage checkouts, holds, reading history, fines, saved searches, bookmarks, and account settings.
Accessing the Account Portal is simple and uses the existing account icon at the top right of the catalog page. When you are logged in, you will see the Account Portal link within the account window, and clicking on it will take you to the portal's overview page.
The following is a quick summary of the features available in the Account Portal. For more information about these features, please view our other catalog FAQs.

The Overview page provides a quick view of the items you have on hold, the items you have checked out, and suggested reads based on your reading history. You can quickly check your hold status and checkouts by clicking on the links in the Overview page, and see the catalog entry for any suggested reads by clicking on them.

The Account page allows you to access and change account information, including password, email address, preferred locations, and more.

The Checkouts & Requests page allows you to view and manage Checkout Items, Hold Requests, and Reading History, with the option to search for items within the page.

The Bills & Fines page displays any charges to your account and gives you the option to select and pay them. The fine payment system remains the same otherwise.

The Bookmarks page displays an items that you have bookmarked by default, and you can place them on hold from this view. You can select to view all available bookmarks to see any not displayed on the initial page, as well as to view and create bookmark lists.

The Saved Searches page displays any searches that you have saved within the catalog. From this page you can run, search, or share any saved searches, as well as edit or delete them.
