If you need your PIN for your library account but can't remember what it is, try to log in using the last four digits of your library card number.

If that doesn't work, there are two ways you can get your PIN working by having it reset. You will need your 14-digit library card number to do either of them.

If you have an email address on record with the library (we can check that for you if you are not sure), we can send you a link that will allow you to reset your PIN. Just go to sarasotacountylibraries.org/home-library and click on Library Account. Then click on Forgot Your PIN? You will be asked to enter your library barcode number (14 digits, with no spaces).  An email with the link to reset your PIN will then be automatically sent. Please keep in mind that the link is good for only 3 hours.

The other way is to have library staff reset it for you.  You can do this in person at any of the ten library locations or call the library at (941) 861-1110 during regular business hours.

Please let us know if you have any further questions, anytime.  We're happy to help!

Thank you so much for using and supporting Sarasota County libraries.
