How to Donate to the Library

The mission of the Sarasota County Library System is to offer equal access to information, foster lifelong learning, and inspire community engagement. Your gift makes it possible to continue to provide outstanding library service. There are three ways for you to give:

1. Materials Donations

Find out more information at the FAQ page, "Does the library accept book donations?".

Be sure to Review our Materials Donation Guidelines.

Please make sure donated items are in good condition.

2. Make a Difference Fund

Because of your generosity, the 52,000 children, teens and adults who use the libraries each week will find the information they need, participate in learning opportunities, and engage in their community.

Download the Make a Difference Fund donation form to complete, print, and mail in. Your gift makes it possible to continue to provide outstanding library service.

Unless otherwise specified, your gifts will be added to the Sarasota County Library System "Make A Difference Fund" which supports services at each of the ten public libraries. For more information, call 941-861-5468 or 941-861-5481.
