It is a dependent special district managed by a board of directors.  

  • Books can be looked at onsite, but cannot be checked out from the library. 
  • The library has a small collection of essential materials. 
  • Access is available to Fast Case, which is an online legal database.
  • Three computers are available for public use. 
  • Printing is free, but only for legal research purposes.
  • Staff does not offer legal interpretation of any law. 

Law Library is open by appointment only. Call 941-861-8191 to arrange an appointment.
