Sarasota County Libraries offers programs you can access online (virtually).
Live, virtual programs
Virtual programs are held either through the Zoom video conferencing platform. If you would like to see a list of our virtual programs and register for upcoming events, see the steps and video below:
1. Access the library event calendar.
2. Select a program title from the calendar. Virtual Programs are denoted on the calendar with "Facebook Live" or "(Live)" in the title. You can also filter virtual programs specifically by selecting "Virtual Events" under Library Location or "Virtual" under Event Category, as well as any other filters for the program type you are looking for.
3. On the program's page, you can register for the program by inputting the required information (noted with a red asterisk, or *) in the fields at the bottom of the page. You may also view a description about the program, save the program to a calendar app, and print or electronically share the page.
4. You will receive a confirmation email to the email address you registered with. Most programs will also send a reminder email which includes more information about the program before it starts, such as Zoom meeting IDs and passwords if the program uses them.
