Yes, curbside pickup is available at our library branches during open hours. You can schedule for a curbside pickup appointment of your items and also pick up holds inside the branches (see the curbside phone numbers below).
How it works:
- Request an item through the catalog page or by phone at 941-861-1110, and choose a pickup library.
- When the item is listed as "Ready for Pickup" (accompanied by an email notification), call the pickup library (numbers below) to set up an appointment. Appointments are in 15 minute increments during our operating hours. Please allow 24 hours prior to your desired pick up time.
- Drive to the library's designated curbside pickup spot at your appointed time. Call to let staff know you have arrived.
- Staff will check out your items to you and bring them out to you.
