Yes, curbside pickup is available at our library branches (even after reopening on Monday, June 15th).  During open hours, you can schedule for a curbside pickup appointment of your items and also pick up holds inside the branches. 

How it works:

  1. Request an item through the catalog page or by phone at 941-861-1110, and choose a pickup library.
  2. When the item is listed as "Ready for Pickup" (accompanied by an email notification), call the pickup library (numbers below) to set up an appointment. Appointments are in 15 minute increments during our operating hours.
  3. Drive to the front of the library at your appointed time. There will be a set up of tables and signage with the library's workroom phone number, which you will call to let staff know you have arrived.
  4. Staff will check out your items to you and bring them out to you. They will be placed on the tables in a bag for you to take.

Information will also be posted on the library's website, the catalog page, and sent through email to patrons.
