There are 2-4 Bi-Folkal Kits in each library, and each kit is uniquely designed to help a person stimulate memory!

A Bi-Folkal Kit is a packaged program designed to bring back memories of a particular time or topic and invite involvement and sharing.  There are 33 kits with each one centering on a different theme such as holidays, seasons, school days, automobiles, summertime, county fairs, and train rides.

Each kit may contain a DVD and/or CD, a program manual, songbooks, activity worksheets, and multi-sensory resources that may trigger memories to share.  The kits are especially popular with older adult groups and as a multi-generational activity where older adults can reminisce, and younger generations can learn.  They can also be used at family and social events, library programming, or by activity directors in senior care communities.

Please click here to see a list of our current kits.

For more information about Bi-Folkal kits, you may visit the Bi-Folkal Production's website.
