cloudLibrary offers a few accessibility features when reading a book on both the website and their app. These features allow you to adjust the font of the book's text, the size of the font, the display color scheme, and the layout.
When you change any of these features in the app, your changes will be saved in the app on that device and will be applied automatically to every book you read on that same device. If you make any changes in the website, the changes will only be saved until you log out or close the browser, and they will not be applied automatically to every book you borrow.

Accessibility Settings in the Website
To adjust any of the settings on the website, first open the book you'd like to read. Click anywhere in the middle of the screen, and two horizontal bars will appear on your screen, one at the top and one at the bottom. On the right side of the top bar, select the Aa button:
This will open the settings menu:
The first option allows you to adjust the size of the text. The button on the left with the smaller Aa will make the text smaller, and the button on the right with the larger Aa will make the text larger. Continue clicking on either button until the text is as small or large as you want.
The second option, called Theme, allows you to change the colors of the text and it's background. Default is a white background with black text, Night is a black background with white text, and Sepia is a light tan-ish color background with brown text. Simply click on one of the boxes to change to that theme. (The text in blue is links, usually only found at the beginning and end of the book but not in the story itself, and they go to either a section of the eBook or to a website. The blue text will remain the same colors in every theme.)
The third option allows you to change the layout of the text on your screen. The Single layout, the default setting, shows one column of text on your screen. The Double layout shows two columns of text, like you would see in an open book.
The fourth option, Font Name, lets you change the font of the text. If you click the dropdown menu, you will see several options:
Clicking on any of these will change how the text looks. You can choose whichever one you prefer. These are just three of the font options.

Accessibility Settings in the App
The accessibility features in the app are accessed the same way as the website. Open an eBook, then tap the middle of the screen and select the Aa button from the bar at the top of the screen:
This will open the main accessibility settings menu:
To make the font smaller or larger, tap on one of the capital A's at the top of the menu. The smaller one on the left will make the text smaller, and the larger one on the right will make the text larger.
The app also offers the same three themes as the website: Day (a different name for the default white background with black text), Sepia, and Night. Tap on the name of the one you'd like to use to change to it.
The layout setting is under the Advanced settings menu, which will be covered further below.
The app offers different fonts than the website, with the exception of the OpenDyslexic font which is available in both the website and the app. To change the font, tap where it says Original with the arrow to the left of the word Font to open up the font menu. Simply tap on any of the fonts to select them. The font you currently have selected will have a checkmark next to it.
The app offers a few additional settings that the website doesn't allow you to adjust in addition to the font, text size, theme, and layout. On the main menu settings screen, the very last option is the Scroll Mode option. This features affects how you move through the book. The default is for you to flip pages, just like you would an actual book, by tapping on the left or right side of the screen. In Scroll mode, you can simply scroll through the book continuously, like you would a webpage on your device. Simply tap the button next to Scroll mode to turn it on. Scroll mode is on when the button is green:
The rest of the settings are located in the Advanced Settings menu. Tap Advanced Settings to open up these settings. The Advanced Settings allow you more customization over the way the text is displayed on your device.
The default setting for all of these settings is Auto. This means that app will automatically adjust the settings with any changes you make on the main settings menu and will also adjust when you switch between reading in portrait mode and landscape mode (how you're holding your device). If you change any of the Advanced Settings to something other than Auto, they won't change even if you change anything else. For example, if you set the Line Height to 1.5, each line of text will remain exactly that far apart even if you make the text bigger or smaller. If you were to then make the text several times larger, you would have noticeably fewer words on the screen, whereas if you left Line Height on Auto, the Line Height would automatically adjust, and in this case decrease, so you would see more of the book on your screen with the same larger text size.
Each setting in this menu changes something different with the text. The Reset button at the top of the screen will reset all of these back to the default Auto settings. The buttons below that button adjust how the text is arranged on the screen, whether it's aligned to the left side of the screen (the button on the right), whether the words in each line are distributed across the screen more evenly (the middle button), or whether this is adjusted automatically (the auto button on the left side). This is similar to the options in word processing software such as Microsoft Word or Google Docs.
The third option, Column, is the same as the layout option on the website version. This allows you to adjust how many columns you see on the screen. For smaller devices, such as most smartphones, the single column will only be displayed, even if you choose the two column option. For larger devices, such as tablets, in landscape mode, either option works equally well. In Auto mode on a tablet, the app will default to one column in portrait mode and two columns in landscape mode. If you prefer to only ever have the one column, simply change this setting to 1.
The Page Margins option adjusts how much space there is between the text and the edges of your screen. Increasing the page margins will increase the space between the text and the edge of your screen, and so you'll see less of the book on your screen at one time. Decreasing the page margins will show you more of the book on your screen.
Line Height, mentioned above, is the space between each line of text. Word Spacing is the amount of empty space between each word, while Letter Spacing is the amount of empty space between each letter in a word.
