Is there a way for me to get one-on-one tech assistance with a librarian?

Sarasota County Libraries offers tech assistance by appointment through the Tech Navigators program.
Tech Navigators are library staff who assist the community with the internet and the use of computing devices.
Tech Navigator services include demonstration/instruction of skills/tips to use mobile phones, tablets and computers. This includes supporting library digital resources and exploring the basic functions and features of apps, websites and common devices. Some tasks are beyond our scope and may be referred to other organizations.
Please note that appointment requests are answered in the order they are received. Each location might have a limited availability for appointments.
To request an appointment, please fill out the request form. If you're not sure, give us a call at our Information Center number 941-861-1110 and we'd be happy to connect you with what you need. You will be asked for contact information, when it's best to contact you, and details about the device, tech and/or topics you'd like to focus on during your appointment. Then a staff person at your requested location will contact you to discuss your request.
