Sarasota County Libraries and Historical Resources now offers faxing services for all patrons! You can now send a fax to anywhere within the US, Canada, or internationally from any of our library locations at no charge! Here are some quick facts about our service:

  • You do not need a library card to fax. The service is open to all library visitors!
  • There is no charge for faxing.
  • You must have a valid email address to fax. An email is required to receive confirmation about the status of the fax.
  • Faxes are sent in black-and-white. As with printing, faxes cannot be sent in color.
  • Option to create a cover page. If you do not already have your own.

Receiving Faxes

Our faxing services do not include receiving of faxes.

Often times, one's bank will offer free fax services for members and with a fee for nonmembers as long as an ID is presented, although this depends on the services offered by the bank.

However, there are also several places locally that offer faxing services for a fee. Some businesses that commonly offer faxing services are Staples, Fedex, Office Max, UPS Stores, Office Depot, and other local pack and ship shops such as Express Pak SRQ, and 301 Kwikie Inc.
