Hoopla and CloudLibrary are compatible with most smartphones, tablets, and computers. Both are available as free apps in your device's app store for the following:

  • iPhones
  • iPads
  • Android Smartphones
  • Android Tablets

Hoopla and CloudLibrary can also be used on computers through most web browsers. 

  • Windows Computers
  • Apple Computers
  • Chromebooks

Additionally, Hoopla and CloudLibrary are both compatible with Kindle Fire tablets. Hoopla and cloudLibrary are available as free apps from the Amazon app store. For a full list of devices compatible with these apps (Android version 5 and up), click here.

CloudLibrary also works with most e-ink readers such as Nooks, Kobo eReaders, and other eReaders that use the ePub eBook format. However, CloudLibrary and Hoopla are not compatible with Kindle Paperwhites or Oasis.

Closure Notice

Fruitville Renovation

Renovations and expansion building works will be happening at Fruitville Library, which will require Fruitville Library to temporarily close on Dec. 18. The reimagined library is scheduled to reopen in July 2026.

Holds Pickup Interruption at Fruitville Library

With the closure of the Fruitville Library, there will be a brief period over the holidays when you will be unable to pick up your holds.
To ensure you receive your long-awaited items, please pick them up by 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 17. Our portable library pickup option will be available in early January.

If you prefer, you may also change your hold pickup location to another library before that date. If you need assistance updating your pickup location, please call 941-861-1110.
