Starting May 22nd, 2025, PressReader will begin offering daily puzzles and brainteasers on its homepage. Through Sarasota County Libraries you will have access to a new set of puzzles everyday, available and playable right from the website with no printing, paper, or pencil required.
Provided by the supplier behind puzzles for The Wall Street Journal, USA Today, The Guardian and other leading publications, PressReader’s new selection of daily brainteasers include:

Sudoku (in Easy, Medium and Hard levels of difficulty)

Daily puzzles are currently only available on the web-based version of PressReader, and will only be available in English. There are plans to introduce puzzles to the mobile app version and additional languages for both in the future, but no estimated release window at this time.
How to access daily puzzles in PressReader

Navigate to the PressReader website.

Sign in by choosing the Library or Group link to enter your library card number and PIN. For more information about logging in to PressReader, click here.

From the PressReader home page, scroll down until you find the section entitled "Puzzles". Select See All to go to the full Puzzles page.

The Puzzles page offers the full selection of Puzzles available on PressReader, displaying the newest puzzles of each type. Select See All within any section to see archived puzzles of that type.

Click on a puzzle to start playing. PressReader will automatically begin to time the puzzle; you may pause the timer at will. You may also view the Rules (how-to-play instructions, controls, etc.), receive Hints, and Check your progress at any time. When a puzzle is completed, you will receive a notification.

On the Puzzles screen you can see at-a-glance which puzzles you have completed, which are in-progress, and which you have not yet opened.
