Our new online catalog can be viewed through two sites:

  1. Enhanced Catalog Site
  2. Basic Catalog Site

You can access our library collection from either site. However, some features of the catalog function different between both sites. In this guide, you will learn about the most prominent differences between both catalogs so that you may consider which will be more suitable for you to use.

User Experience

Enhanced Catalog: Modernized look which features “Showcases” that compile and display the collection by themes, subjects, item types, etc. Search results within the Enhanced catalog readily display cover images and the branches where the item is available. The "My Bookshelf" bar, expandable and located at the bottom of the catalog, provides easy access to checkouts, holds, searches, lists, and profile options without loading a new web page.

Basic Catalog: Simplified, classic look that more easily run on older systems. Contains Google Preview links on some search results that can display cover images and contents where applicable, though not all results may have it. My Account tab provides links to checkout, hold, search, list, and profile pages but requires page navigation.
